Anonymous Hacks Mantech Fingers LulzSec
Hacker Collective Anonymous Breaks Into Government Contractors Site
In a recent report on TechEye.net
Hacking group Anonymous claims to have broken into the network of US government contractor Mantech and posted some NATO-related correspondence online. -reported by Nick Farrell
It seems that the attack, at least partially, is to reassert the notion that Anonymous is still alive and kicking after the FBI and Scotland Yard have been seen “Cracking Down,” on both groups.
And in a related Article on TechEye.net it seems that the same Scotland Yard officials, happy in finding the LulzSec “Mastermind,” have indeed found a server admin …
While British coppers and the FBI were celebrating the bloke they thought was the mastermind of LulzSec and were preparing to chuck the book at him, it appears that he might have been grassed up by the hacker group Anonymous. All signs point to the fact that the hacker in the slammer is Ryan Cleary. He has been charged under the Computer Misuse Act and Fraud Act and is being tied to everything that LulzSec has done. The only problem is that Cleary was not a member of Lulzsec. His involvement with that group is limited to hosting one of the outfit’s chat groups on his IRC server.- reported by Nick Farrell
You can find that article here LulzSec get’s fingered, maybe
Does this signal a little in fighting between the supposed linked groups? If you remember, a few weeks ago, everyone, including this site, reported, via a release from the two groups, that LulzSec and Anonymous were working together.
